today i took both the tests for the 2 units and passed with getting a 90% on both.

Video 1 - Isn't Evolution just a Theory - What is the difference between a theory, a hypothesis and a law?
A theory is something that is proven but open to be dis-proven. A hypothesis is an educated guess that could be wrong. A law is something that has been proven and is a fact.

Video 3 - How Do We Know Evolution Happens? - What have scientists learned so far by looking at fossils?
We started out looking like animals and having a different bone structure. (looking like apes) We have then changed or evolved our DNA, but not trying to, and that's how we look now.

Video 6 - Why Does Evolution Matter Now - How does evolution work against us with dangerous microbes (little things!)?
These microbes will be dangerous when we evolve by transferring the DNA dangerously.

today, we went to the science fair and we saw things. my favorite projects were Do Bananas Ripen more in groups?; Teen Stress; and how does juice affect your teeth? we also did the sexual health website session thing for 30 minutes. did you know, males can have breasts? thanks.

Today I finished my Carnivorous Plant Powerpoint and I think it is amazing. Mr. Hollinger is going to grade it. I am not talking to Jack. I also worked on a lot of other things.

This is the information I got from the walk outside:
a. What makes pollen- brown, leaf-like, little round thingies, soft.
b. Leaf- Pattern of veins, leaf is green, veins are yellow.
c. Crunchy Leaf- Black spots, little veins, patterns.
d. Moss- Gray, looks like spikes and hairs, cool looking.
e. Flower Petal- Pinkish, yellow hairs, orange dust.
f. Chestnut Shell- White and Brown hairs, black spots, black veins.
g. Spikey Ball- Black dots, white dots, spikes, branches, white hairs.

I did the weebit thing and got that graded and I am working on the next thing.

Today we visited the Senior Projects in the library.
I particularly liked the projects,
1. Typical High School Stereotypes.
2. How Dance Therapy Helps Special Needs Kids.
3. Cheerleading Injuries and Preventions.
I thought the Senior Projects were really cool and I'm glad we went.

I think the spoon is good for water because I can scoop up a lot. On my spreadsheet, I saw that the top 3 people who got the highest amount of water used a spoon.

I really liked both the scissors and the spoon for food because they both grabbed alot of things based on the data in my spreadsheet.

WE HAD THE MITOSIS QUIZ WHERE WE HAD TO GO OUTSIDE AND DO THE 'MITOSIS DANCE'. THE MITOSIS DANCE HELPED US BETTER UNDERSTAND HOW THE CELL WORKS. WE ALSO WATCHED THE MITOSIS VIDEO AND WORKED ON OUR MITOSIS ANIMATIONS.
